- Fill out BSU Admissions application and pay application fee of $30. Must be completed 3 days prior to the first day of class
To Do List - Other items to do before or during the 6 week course
- Dept. of Transportation Physical Exam. Required BEFORE the 10th day of class. Results of your physical must be recorded on a form that meets the DOT requirements. Cost is $40 - $70.
- Driving Record. You are required to provide your Idaho driving record, or one from the state that you have previously resided in for the past three years. Contact Idaho Transportation Dept.at 334-8735, a local insurance company, or the DMV. Idaho charges $4 for this service.
- CDL Manual. Study sections two and three before the first day of class. The manual can be obtained free at any DMV in the state of Idaho.
Other Information
- 6 weeks of classroom / on-the-road experience
- CDL Instruction Permit - You will need your original Social Security Card to take the test.
